Mr. Prabhakar Gogate(B.E. Mech.), with a zest of creating something and providing best quality products to the customers founded the Jupiter at Shriwardhan, a village situated in Raigad District, Maharashtra, India. Whilst barely having people in his team, he took relentless efforts to establish “Jupiter” in the field of clamping industry. He only believed customer satisfaction to be the goal.

As years passed, Mr. Prabhakar along with team grew and in the year 1972, a new unit was started in Thane, Maharashtra for manufacturing specialised clamps which required high technology. This unit saw the growth of company.

The employees which started their careers with Jupiter in the same unit are still with us and have equal zest to take the company to new heights.

In 1986, Mr. Mahendra P. Gogate joined as a Partner. With him joining, Jupiter was introduced to new technology and processes. He focussed on customer satisfaction and collaborations to achieve results. Mahendra always practises to keep himself and his entire team updated with latest manufacturing technology. New product development Innovation, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement are the values that Jupiter focuses on. Over the years we have implemented various strategies to provide the customers with best products. Today we can proudly say that our pioneer plant in a regional area in India functions with utmost efficiency and our third plant is fully automated. We are IATF 16949, ISO 14000 and OHSAS certified company. At Jupiter, each clamp undergoes a meticulous quality check.

Today, Jupiter is proud to welcome its third generation Mr. Aaditya and Mr. Siddharth Gogate. Jupiter team is now aiming for global growth, drawing strengths from its existing products and plant synergies, as well as adding new product lines, new plants and expanding manufacturing capacities.

Jupiter’s sister company Gogte Power Press is now transforming the world of engineering by manufacturing and inventing Power Press Machines that are tailored to customer-specific requirements.

To steer ahead, new methods and tools like Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, MRP II are being implemented. In 2022, Jupiter has entered in 60th year of its inception and is expanding to Australia, Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, Canada.
